Ginnie closed to diving until further notice?

Anyone know what's going on with Ginnie? Was closed for a few days around the holiday according to their website, now saying closed to "until further notice".

There doesn't seem to be a lot of information available at this time. I guess we just wait and see.

Of note, someone on a FB group I'm in did call (as apparently many others are doing today) and was told they have no other information at this time beyond what is on the banner on their website. So please don't be calling them to find out what's going on as we don't want to annoy them.

In the meantime, just about everywhere else in cave country apparently is looking great right now, so there's plenty of alternative places to go right now in the area.

Honestly don't bother calling, the staff at Ginnie rarely answers the phone. Best bet is to call EE or CCDS chances are if they don't know the status no one does.

I dove Ginnie once by boat. Don’t want to have to do that on a regular basis.
