i made it ,i am typeing this on a tab2 u tablet ,did not have any issues getting here . got ya beat 47 and 45 cheched think i brought the kt sink got to remember this is sport drift diveing not ateck wreck dive..
also i oppted to just up grade to 100.s rather than dive a side mount as a backup. any way see ya tues right

im wipedd did a shore dive after i landed to addjust weights been to long since i dived salt.

Did the private charter today so we could do two shallows with the inlaws for their resort course. Hit the gardens, did lunch at Money and finished at Paridiso. Gotta download the dive camera. Did dinner at Parrilla Mission. The food is good as are the prices. Nice side bar of hots to compliment the meal. Everyone liked it. I would avoid the margaritas though. They aren't top notch...


Of course, we had to pit stop at Mega. Everyone had their choice of after dinner specials. Some chose ice cream....

I've got one bag closed @ 47#, one still adding @ 42#, plus backpack and roll-on. 3-1/2 hours until I shut down the house and head to Lubbock I guess. I tried calling American to ask what time their desk actually opens as I doubt I really need to be there 2 hours in advance, but there is a 60 minute hold time.

Ah, I did find the info on the site: 4:30am. Ok, I'll be there by then, in the air at 6, asleep at 6:05.

Did dinner at Parrilla Mission. The food is good as are the prices. Nice side bar of hots to compliment the meal. Everyone liked it. I would avoid the margaritas though. They aren't top notch...

PM has been our favorite dinner spot for some years now .... I'd kill for a couple of their chulettas right now!! And the pickled onions .... can you ship me some??

Never had a Rita issue there, but then again I'm not the tequila 'connoisseur' that someone else around here is!

Made it...! TSA didn't inspect my checked bags much but went thru my roll-on as usual. I stepped out in DFW during the 3 hour wait, came back in, long TSA line but no problems with bags. The Customs form is in Spanish only so the FA gave us a class as we approached Coz. Hated waking up so early. Getting there is half the adventure.

Damn!

No porters working at Cozumel airport today, and one of my bags has no wheels - and then there's my number of bags!

Well, I got my ticket purchased and my cargo to the van - and waited until he packed 11 of us in like sardines. I was third stop but got out each time to make sure my bags didn't exit early. Talked with a couple who had taken the Cancun to Coz air shuttle, arriving when no other planes were on the ground - and they had a very long wait as the vans usually won't move until totally full.

LUNCH...!!

Thanks! I don't remember the bed being this hard last year, or the room this dark. I guess I can sleep ok, but fumbling around in the dark sucked. Seems that they got rid of the floor lamps! I objected repeatedly and they found me a desk lamp with two small bulbs. I did used to bring my own light bulbs to Coz but I thought they got off of that small bulb kick after they went CFB. And they are those cheaper, yellowish CFBs too.

Dive Paradise would not fill my pony! I'm going out one day with Chief's clan on Allison's boat tomorrow, so he'd better be a better buddy than the typical boat pick. I'll get my pony to Opal's tomorrow for Tuesdays dives.

Now that I can see my dive gear, I guess I need to get it organized, batteries charged, etc.
