SSP? Swim/snorkel business? Looks like Costco won’t be selling US Divers snorkel sets anymore.

So Aqualung group in the US is being consolidated into a new small office somewhere on the east coast. I'm guessing DC area to better serve military customers and for easier flight access from France. But could be FL if they want to emphasize the civilian market.

Note that PPS is their only US operation that is not affected by this.

This is already underway. I can't speak to any headcount reductions though.
You can now. This is a sweeping reorganization of its North American operations, Aqualung Group will lay off 60 US-based employees and close its facilities in California and Hawaii, opting to transfer its US distribution office to the East Coast. Your kidding right.

Disposal of the chrome box tops and box bottoms has started already and rolls of the original Conshelf XIV yellow black labels and stickers have already left the building.
A consignment of original US Divers hand drawn pen and ink drawings dating back to the 1974 UDS 1 including parts and labels found in an old box have also been disposed of or so it was suggested.

So out of these 83 Aqualung employees with the 60 folk gone (2024) only 23 jobs being kept on of which 16 will be remote workers with only 7 jobs remaining being offered to workers willing to transfer from East coast to West if they wish to uproot and move kids wife and the dog to Swampsville Plaza Orlando
I trust the good news is that the Aqualung scuba Guru's with great tans and teeth will remain so not all is lost.
Next Apeks Marine news is a'comin. A gaggle of new HR (Human Resources) consultants were seen sharpening pencils.
