Hi PK

Ended up doing a dusk dive with dkerr @ Nubble, he wanted to do a night dive but I’m not ready for that yet. He is an excellent diver & buddy; if you get the chance don’t hesitate. Going with brudda tomorrow…a bug huntin we go. Keep in touch.

Night dives are nice but you definately need a light. As a new diver, it's good to get comfortable with your skills and equipment during day dives then move on to night dives if it feels right. I made the mistake of doing a night dive too early and ended up losing my fins in the dark, (what experienced diver would forget their fins?!)

As Magwitch said, we had a great dive. My first of the year, and it felt great to get back in the water. I have been doing so much dreaming of diving lately that it seems like I fell right back into where I was last year. The weather was gorgeous at Nubble. Vis was about 15ft. My max depth was 34fsw at which we hit 52F. Had some company that we ran into onshore and then later near the end of the dive. One of them was nice enough to take a pic and send it over. Saw some great scenery when we were down there. For my first dive at Nubble, I was very happy. Even the entry was easy. Surprisingly easy wouldn't you say Magwitch....(I'll let him fill in this detail if he cares to)
Nice to be back in the water, and no better way than hooking up with a new dive buddy from scubaboard's NLD.

Just sat down & bum slid...oh your talking how I tested the water temp fully clothed. I was eating hamburger while walking around waters edge looking for entry point. One looked enticing so went closer for a better look, slippery rocks & gravity insisted that I get a real close. So to avoid injury falling, I jumped in, hamburger & all. As DKERR said people were filming but I avoided them fearing I would be on of those “Don’t be that guy commercial.”
