When I canoe I always hop out and drag it well up on shore like that.
If that is how that got there then I wouldn't say anything bad about the man that could be traced back to me. :wink:

If you look at the tide marks on the bridge piers it might be possible that he floated it in. Then he got drunk and forgot to go back out before low tide.
 
Sometimes, it is better to beach it, than sink it. A bad I/O seal or a big leak from an unknown source may be too scary to rely on the little bilge pump. Looks like a lot of power used to get her high on the beach.
I hope the DIVERsion if secure in her home slip. This stuff is $$$$.
 
Not exaxtly what the owner had in mind when they invited company to "drop by for a visit".
