Unless you dive during summer months (July, August, September), a dry suit (or at least a heavy wet suit) will help a lot.

All the French Atlantic coast is rather cold all year long.While diving the Med, wind can be a problem : around Marseille even the Summer, the Mistral tends to get the water cold.

As much as possible, I'm going to try to dive year-round. So drysuit it is!

It will be heaven. You can divide or multiply anything by 10, 100, 1000 etc. and it continues to add up.
And you feel Celcius is not precise enough? Why would one need any smaller steps than 1 degree C (unless if you work in a lab, maybe)? Just curious...

Awesome! Pretty much everything about metric makes sense.

As far as Celsius goes, I’m like a chinchilla so I recognize 1 degree of Fahrenheit change!

Kidding… it’s only because I am used to it. But I did get used to Celsius quickly when I lived in Germany previously.
