sarita - thanks for the tips on SF :) I grew up there and Mom still lives in the Bay Area (kind of LOL) so we've got all that kind of stuff sussed and we'll have her car to get us to/from train stations etc. It works pretty slick depending on where we're going.

I'll PM you closer to the date to see if you're free for lunch or something. I know we are going to try for a ball game as the Giants are at home that week, and we're going to do breakfast at John's by the zoo, but beyond that, we have no plan!

I've been a bit slack lately, but doing some beach walking and still eating well. Been having a few beers over the past week or so, but decided to not do that nightly again a couple of nights ago. It's just so nice to sit in the spa under the stars with a coldie! :)

another day done... today was a fitness test to compare it to 10weeks ago

plank...........1min 30secs............2mins (maximum time)

I'm down 4 pounds since John left on May 30th...quite a feat.

need to buy new sneakers before I can go to the gym...and there's lots going on...so I'll work hard to eat right...and try to squeeze in gym time.
 
girly pushups... on my knees and whining all the time :D

and this morning was toning... a wishy washy name for quite a workout but done!
 
last night was kickboxing and i took it easy because today i had another fitness test (2nd in a week!)

todays efforts:

I cannot get over the pushups and situps. I'd drop dead if I tried to do 46 pushups - much less in a minute! Oh, and I'd still be doing the 4kms coz this body don't run :D

We've done two beach walks today because Tilly is a crazy dog and I had to get out of the house before our scheduled walk with friends! It's been really nice to get out though.

Here she is coming back around for another go at this stick...

it looks so sunny and summery there alcina!! i WISHED we could live the beach lifestyle too!

heeheh - and considering my shuffle-running is the average persons walking it wasnt that impressive

though i do shuffle down hills now instead of walking the entire 4klms :D


now, lets talk COMPRESSION TIGHTS!

i bought hubby a few pairs and he is saying they work wonders with lactic acid and he has been feeling less sore since starting to wear them and even his trainer is thinking of investing in them
