1st trip to Thailand

Khao Lak is a small beach resort just North of Phuket on the West Coast.
Koh Tao is a small island in the Gulf of Thailand on the East Coast.

Gracias Amigo I'll check it out.. Aren't there some National Marine parks up in that area?? On the coast that is.

The Similan Marine National Park is located West South-West off Kao Lak and the Surin Marine National Park (and Richelieu Rock) are located North West off Khao Lak.

Both National Parks consist of several islands, submerged reefs and boulders (rocks), are located well offshore and can only be reached by boat.
