I have been certified since January, and I am about to make my 100th dive this weekend.
It may seem silly, but for some reason it seems like a bit of a milestone, so I want to commemorate or celebrate it somehow. I was just wondering if I was the only person like this, or, if not, what did others do?

Congratulations! 100 dives in 8 months is quite impressive.

The traditional celebration is to dive naked... or so I have heard.

Since my dive tomorrow will be about 19 C, that doesn't sound so safe...

I live about 2 min. from a (relatively) nice beach dive area. I also live on an island with nothing else to do. I get about 4-6 dives almost every weekend and have taken several trips to Malaysia and Thailand where I loaded up on dives there.

My 100th dive was a night dive off the Nekton in the Caymans.

SWEET!

I invited some special dive buddies to join me, had a little celebration after the dive (with food and cake), then started on my second hundred.

I later got into the habit of trying to celebrate my "century" dives at special locations ... for example, I'm planning to do my 2,000th dive next March in Indonesia.

Congratulations ... 100 dives in 8 months is an accomplishment ...:D
