Great Job! My 100th dive was at my favorite site so I was so happy about it! :yeahbaby:

I have been certified since January, and I am about to make my 100th dive this weekend.
It may seem silly, but for some reason it seems like a bit of a milestone, so I want to commemorate or celebrate it somehow. I was just wondering if I was the only person like this, or, if not, what did others do?
For dive 100, I changed tanks and went back in for 101 ;)

Now, for #600, some friends presented me with this

under water while we were diving...

It happened at a ScubaBoard event and was signed by most of the divers there (Total surprise!)

(Pay no attention to the intoxicated man in the middle... lol)

100 dives in 8 months.. Thats an average of 12-13 dives a month or 4 dives a week.. Lucky sob. Wish I could dive that often. Problem for me is not sites, but air. Its hellish to get air fills around here..

GRATS!

100 dives that's great. I think I am still on dive number 12!!

I understand the weather in Japan is really hot!!! I think just getting into to the water would be celebration enough, I hate Japan's hot humid weather. You might not like this, but I would have a nice big bowl of Kyushu style ramein.

Whatever you do have a great time!!!

Congratulations on a wonderful MTBD (Mean Time Between Dives) rating.

For my 250th dive I found myself diving with the instructor that certified me 2+ years earlier. It was an accident but a nice milestone. Is you instructor local?

The 100th naked wasn't a happening thing for me here in Maine either. I considered it for # 200 but decided Weeki Wachee wasn't the right place either.

Well, I got my c-card in thailand. My instructor for my Rescue and AOW is in Japan, but Okinawa is still a good distance away.

If all goes as planned, I'll be at #98 when I return home from Tobermory next week. That just about guarantees that I'll be looking for a dive buddy before I head back out on the road!

No nekkid diving for me- you wouldn't want to see a naked trucker with hoses and flippers. Not a pretty sight :shakehead:

For me, that was over 20 years ago, don't get me to thinking back that long ago......

For my 100th I did a cleanup dive in Dahab, Egypt! We pulled about 200kg of trash out of the water! Gratifying...
