Write "100 Dives" on your slate, smile and have your pic taken underwater.

buy a post-dive day round for all on the boat?

Anyway, I was out at Flower gardens, bought a beer for my assistant instructor.

I got certified almost exactly a year ago, and I'm at dive #96...so I'm almost there too. Around here we tend to get a nice underwater shot of you holding a slate with #100 written on it...and then we have cake and beer at the debrief. (Sounds gross, but it's actually quite good!)

I was hoping to do my 100th with my usual buddies, but I leave for Bali in less than two weeks, and I don't think I'm going to be able to get in four dives before I go. So I guess my 100th will be at an exotic location. Not a bad tradition!

Congrats...it's definitely a milestone. (We certainly consider it one around here!)

I invited all the instructors I'd had (OW, AOW, Rescue and Fundies) as well as one of my OW classmates and my mentor to do the 100th dive with me (only Bob actually did the dive with me, although my Fundies instructor stopped by to say congratulations). Then we were joined by some of the other people for a nice Thai dinner. It was supposed to have been Bob's 1300th dive (although he missed by one), so I had a chocolate cake with "1400" on it to celebrate. It was fun.

Congrats. Been diving for 30 years as of this week. I can't remember my 100th.

The misses just did her 500th while we were down in Curacao. I took a picture of her holding a slate with #500, the location and date. She had her reg out and was smiling. Beers at the bar that night to celebrate.

She is emailing it out to all of her dive friends who don't dive as often as us just to rub it in.

My 100th dive was the last dive of my IDC, and the 101st dive was at the IE. I am approaching 200 and REALLY hope not to do it in a "test" environment!

Congrats Bob to impending 2000th.. wow.

Congrats to the 100th. How is diving in Yamaguchi area? A lot of my first 50 or so dives were spread around the Asia area.. never in Japan though I lived there for 2 years.. I think a photo underwater with a slate would be a nice touch.

I, too, got my 100th in the Flower Gardens. That was enough celebration for me!

do somthing different .

hey sure look this is my 100th post .

Congrats on #100!!

I've been certified since June 07 and I'm hoping to hit #50 this weekend. Since I'm at #46 right now, it's not likely... I'll probably end up logging #49 tomorrow.
