not for a few years, but I have witnessed this first hand a few times ;) hunt rock is awesome. very challenging freediving/spearfishing on the backside (out of the closed zone). good pick.

Wheres the cheapest lead on the island?

go to your local pistol range and collect the hardcast bullets of the berm after a good rain. it's very clean, super hard lead, no jacket. any range with IPSC or IDPA matches will be covered in it. I have 50 or so lbs of it now, great for filling shot bags or melting into blocks.

    xtx100 v legend lx

if you're concerned about the $, and hose routing isn't an issue, go for the XTX50/DS4. I've dove the full line of Apeks regs, and honestly can't tell the difference in performance between any of them. dual bladder on a singles rig? back up transmitter AND SPG? I'm speechless... :dontknow:

Emergency ascent with a stuck inflator

couldn't have said it better. Simple is always better. adding redundancy when it's not required just introduces more points of failure.

steps to fixing a hub: 1. inspect hub, make sure it is clean and dry. 2. take a ice cold beer out of the fridge. open it. do not drink. 3. toss HUB in the garbage can. 4. drink beer.

    Cold Water Video Footage

nice link Cjfox, good vids. he makes some interesting assumptions about sealions, he's obviously never been freediving around them.... when a bull shows up looking for a challenge he'll have some other things to say ;)

you LDS must love you :D but now you've doubled the HP o-rings.... another SPG & hose will add 3 o-rings... and if failure rates are so low, why do you need another one?
