I wish I had checked this forum two weeks ago. I was on Coz July 19-26 and dived Aerolito with German on the 25th. Would have been nice to have hooked up with you for a cave dive early in the week. Maybe next time.

I assume you're not talking about a cave dive. If you matched gases, your buddy would still only have 1/3 the volume of your 85's to use. When possible, I would rather dive with equal size cylinders reguardless of air consumption. Then forget all the math, and the first one to 1/3's turns...

Your information is correct about the narrow beam cutting thru low vis better. My light is adjustable, however, I keep it at the narrowest adjustment about 90% of the time. A wide angle does better when taking pictures or shooting video in caves. 6* makes a nice beam. good luck
