Question CCR wing with multiple hose routing options

@macado - who did you chat with about customizing the Evolve wing? Can I call EE in Cave Country and have it done? I have the same reservations about the JJ wing as you do - too wide.

I ordered mine from EE when I was living in Florida for the winter. If I recall Halcyon has a custom wing order form and I wrote in the notes for them to cut out the holes like they did on the JJ CCR wing.

Edit: I dont see that as an option on the order form so maybe I just wrote it on the sheet and called Halcyon to confirm they could do it. I don't recall it being a big issue at all.

My other thought.. The Legend comes with the top holes cut out by default so you could order that too.

So what's the difference between CCR and double wings? I suspect the shape could be more CCR friendly with CCR wings, e.g., my Halcyon is delta shaped so there is more buoyancy on the bottom of the wing if I inflate it. Anything else?

From what I recall the Legend wing is supposed to shaped differently (more lift up top / sides) to help with head heaviness in doubles. It will probably work fine on a CCR but I have not tried it. Although a lot of people aren't head heavy in CCRs since first stages are inverted; I actually am so it could help me a little bit.

Regarding their actual CCR wing. I'm honestly not sure. I know it's got more lift and wider to accommodate people using LOLA'd LP50/AL40s with JJ GUE configuration. I have a few friends that bought it because "Halcyon" and it I personally think it's too wide for their X-CCRs with only 3Ls on it.
