I’d get a copy at that price but so far on amazon.ca they are both over 100$
Also what the heck is an elite diver?
You may find books a bit lacking in practical application. In general I have found that the manuals and books talk about the theory behind the planning but leave the details to the instructor. It is as if the materials are deliberately not taking a position.I'm a recreational diver for now and during this Covid situation I am looking to learn more about diving. All courses are postponed for now. Any recommendations for good reading materials that would allow me to understand more about deco diving and how a diver goes about planing and executing a deco dive. I could probably buy course manuals but I'm not sure I want to sign up for a tech class right now.
did you try the link?Where is that from?
There was a link? Oh, yes I see it now, dark blue text not black...did you try the link?
It's @Doppler 's blog. Also author of the six skills of technical diving
The Six Skills and Other Discussions: Creative Solutions for Technical Divers by Steve Lewis
Amazon.com in the US has the Technical Diving book for $37 and Deco for Divers for $25. Make sure you get the second edition for Deco for Divers. In the lower right corner of the cover, there is a red “second edition” note.
Whats the publish date on it? I have a 2010 published copy (first published 2008) with a different tag in the bottom right corner tag (Eurotech 2010 award tag)....
