Come dive with the Cajuns :)
Sorry I didn't get to dive with you, perhaps I 'll meet you folks in the AM, have to return home for work tomorrow.
Looks like you will be eating cerviche tomorrow. All in all just another $hitty day in Cozumel. If you head to the Pub or O'Hana's tt tonight I'll see you there.

I have a group of 10 dive buddies staying at Casa Mexicana and diving with Tres Pelicanos from April 27th - May 4th. Hoping for improved conditions!

Oops...forgive the duplicate post

Crap. I don't know my dates. I thought you were talking about staying till June 4. My bad.

Gobroek I am not hunting but am always looking out for lion fish, I have seen a few here and there this week but not near that many, are these really deep or back in holes?

How common is it to see sail fish while diving in Coz? We were drifting on the wall at San Juan and our guide was very enthusiastically pointing out into the blue. I was a little ways off and looked and only saw a big blue tail heading south. He later said there were two huge sail fish, sorry no pics to prove it.

Hey, when you headed back to Coz, Gary? I'm down for the week starting Saturday. Hopefully some of the "usual suspects" are hanging around. BTW, nice haul...:)

Can I bring a sling to CZM for lionfish hunting? I know some countries get weird about bringing a spear in.

Have to go back for work tomorrow but I will be back next Saturday for 10 days.

Not sure how the airport is about weapons in checked bags, I know guys who bring spears no problem. Maybe luck of the draw.

I've got one down here you're welcome to a few days. I can switch to my camera or do some cave diving instead. Lion fish are scarce on the popular dive spots (good!) But there's still some...

For dozens you've gotta be in the less dove areas... Or deeper.

Offer to the spear is open. Just message me.

Cameron

These guys were pretty deep and in an area that is rarely dove, as for sail fish as far as I know it's pretty rare to see one in Cozumel. I have never seen one or a hammerhead for that matter:(
