Living on the west coast of FL, I've recently taken up spearfishing to take advantage of the local opportunities to dive. It's very different than the east coast and other diving that I've done, but I'm really enjoying it. It doesn't hurt that one of the best spearfishing charters in the state is 5 minutes from my house. :-D Anyhow, back on topic. I've found myself basically starting most of my spearfishing dives strapless - unintentionally. LOL When I backroll off the gunwale into the water I've got my speargun in my right hand and my left hand is on the front of my mask and regulator. So far I am 5 for 5 having the mask strap pushed up off the back of my head at entry on my backroll. Fortunately, my mask always stays put! It's nice to know that my mask will stay in place without the strap, but I've really got to figure out a better technique for entry, so this doesn't keep happening. :-O

Lol diving and hunting fish with a modified Glock 17, the most American thing I've ever encountered in scuba diving..

They should have used an American firearm though. Glock is Austrian.

I'm not real confident I could not wear a belt without my pants falling down.
