Oh, go into your settings and change the posts per page. You can get this one down to a manageable 3 pages. like 12 pounds of #$%^ in a 3 pound bag! :)

Thanks for the tip... I had no idea one could do that here! I'll have to check and see what the maximum number of posts her page is!

As a side note, did you know the 120 steels are much better than the 100 AL if you are looking for a big tank on Coz because the fillers always short fill the 100AL.

Like drbill, I was not aware it could be changed (Forum actions/ General settings/ number of posts per page) thanks for the great tip. This should silence the naysayers who do not think this chain is truly accomplishing anything. Anymore tips??? Perhaps we could force another split in the chain.

Thank you! I am NOT just another pretty face....

I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and this debate boggles my mind more than anything I've seen in a long time...

And this was intended to make it better?:shakehead:

LOL, believe me, I would make for one ugly female. Maybe he was thinking I was a lady, as you can see i'm not overweight like most of the rest of American Men. 5'8" and 155 lb. I work as a welder, can turn wrenches, building a large shop at my house right now, so i'm all man. Ok I will admit I know my way around the kitchen also, and that includes washing dishes :)

Can't beleive this thread is still alive

Diving with an op that limits by time is very different from diving with an op that uses AL80s and lets you dive your tank.
If dives are "well under an hour" because they limit by time- it doesn't matter what the tank was. They could give you steel 120s and limit by time, and you still get "well under an hour".

You're comparing apples to oranges.
If the average Cozumel dive is "well below an hour" it is because the larger ops set artificial limitations. It isn't because an 80 doesn't have enough air for an hour dive.

First off, this is what I said -
There isn't anybody in Cozumel routinely doing 90 minute dives with AL 80's on a typical Cozumel dive site & profile, period. Nada. The average dive in Cozumel is well under 60 minutes.

Interpret it however you like. If you believe based on your one time to Cozumel, that everybody is diving 60 minutes plus on AL 80s in cozumel unless its because of a timed dive operator, so be it.I disagree.

I had no idea divers in Cozumel all have SAC rates lower than anywhere else in the world and were able to defy physics, I guess once you step off the plane in Cozumel, every diver drops one quartile on the SAC chart, must be the Tequila.

"The name Midge is of Greek, Latin, Hebrew and Persian origins and means 'child of light', pearl', 'jewel' or 'who is like God' irrespectively. This name is a pet form of the name Margaret. And is also the name of a type of gnat."

Finally, someone with some useful information instead of all this talk of opinion presented as fact.

Moss to the rescue, proving there are pearls amongst the swine!

Now what does Moss mean in Greek?

gregoros translates as "watchful, alert" which is why I'm so vigilant here they should make me a moderator. However, my mom named me after Gregory Peck, who was born in the small town where I attended college, and who was the 12th greatest male star of all time according to the American Film Institute.

Another reason they should make me a moderator is that I'm part Canadian, the Mossmans having arrived in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia back in 1750. Which means I must be polite, eh?
