Kristina,

I once met this diver at Pt Lobos, Carmel, he guided me around and showed me the beauty of this sanctuary. He was very knowledgeable, kind and just so much fun to be around.

I told him, "he made me feel safe in the water, that I liked how calm he dove, that I wanted to learn more."

He wasn't an instructor then, but he sure did give me so much advice in such a caring way. One day, I asked him, while in the water, kicking out to middle reef, if you become an instructor you have my loyalty as one of your students.

The dude soon got his pass as an instructor and I recommended him to another diver friend, and she fell in love with the guy.

You guessed it, his name is Don and he has touched a lot of divers in such little time.

I have a class comming up really soon with him this month, looking forward to testing out my set of doubles in the ocean.

I am so looking forward to your class Kristina... I feel the excitement as a post Essentials diver... :)

Well, I've signed up for the class, printed the materials and will start going through them this week. I'm ready to go!

Awesome, me too. Ive been through them a couple times while i should have been prepping for a presentation next week- but this is way more fun. Looking forward t meeting you in class!

Way to go Kristina! Don, is going to be a great instructor for you, and will help you learn to dive in ways you never imagined.

NP251, what does your screen name mean to you? Just curious, since to me it means New Process.

Nothing special- just my initials and my College matriculation number. At the time i signed up i had like 9 id's and passwords to remember and this one was easier.

It's amazing how you can change a story with selective use of the bold key. :D

Just kidding around though, Don is a class act.

Casey, you are one crazy dude... LOL

Kristina, I'm trying to get a third guy into your class, he returns from Thailand on the 15th of this month... I will let him know about your class when I see him next week...

Let him know how fun it will be to take it with me :)

I like how we turned this into an "I love Don" thread. He's probably sitting back there blushing.
