They do serve good dinners there! Since we stay there, we now often do supper there when doing a night dive, but it's good to get away too.

Here's my list:

In Kentucky? :shocked2: They look at your funny if you ask about Chicken Fried Steaks there, and Tacos probly look more like Pita sandwiches. I don't know of any decent Tex-Mex east of the Mississippi, and even west you got to avoid the chains!
Did you order the $10 Can-Do map for Coz? I don't agree with all of their suggestions, and we have been emailing today about the mistakes on the airport van fares, but they do give a lot of info on a lot of various places, including featured food and price ranges.
Bandmom...hijack away!! Thanks for the list.Sorry Alohagal....I'm gonna hijack this thread for a minute :hijackedthread:
First, for Don...my fellow Texan (moment of silence please) :texas:
We so miss good ole "TexMex" food.....hopefully you know what I'm talking about. What is the best place for something close to good old Texan TexMex?
Now.....I tallied the "votes" for all the restraunts listed on this thread and several others (yep...I'm OCD) and have my little list BUT I need to know what type of food they serve (ie: Mexican, Seafood, etc.). I filled some in based on what I think they are. Here's my list:
Thanks so much!!

Tex-Mex in Mexico? No silly....not in Kentucky! TexMex in Kentucky....I wish! I asked for Queso once and this is exactly what the waiter said "you want that I melt you some chesse?"....so sad. No, I meant good TexMex style in Cozumel.....

Gail, The lobster served is really not that over to top great in Coz. I apologize for my snobby attitude but my standard is set from my Northeast Yankee days and fresh perfectly cooked Main lobster experience. I even had a native Main coast resident teach me how to dismantle those succulent critters down to the very nubbing....My gosh I show no mercy when it comes to lobster ...and this coming from someone who catches lost spiders and bugs and relocates them outside instead of smashing them on the spot. But lobster........give be a pot of boiling water and melted butter and I turn into a monster. Enjoy and Bon AppñÕit
