Mike and I are thinking about attending, with some other friends. My only challenge is that I will NOT be allowed to dive, or even take a dunk for that matter. So I will have to be shade bound, with limited mobility. We would either drive over Friday afternoon and spend the night, or come over early Saturday and spend that night. Last year, we got there early in the morning and brought muffins for breakfast. Any suggestions for this year?

Those muffins were delicious! :D Those work for me :)

DeepSeaExplorer, Cooler of drinks will be good. Perhaps half water and half soda?

Note, drinks are now marked off the list.

Need things like beans, chicken, coleslaw still. And grief I can't wait to get into that nacho casserole.

Okay... I got the drinks.

Oh, I really, really want to do this, but it's tough with the distance. I hope everyone has a great time and ya'll find lots of shark's teeth!

Thanks for helping with this Tracey, I'm still at work (the kids have been with me all day and in the cafeteria since...0840 today)... Kris gets back tomorrow late or Monday early, and we'll figure out something to bring.

Jim when you stay for clean-up after one of these shin-digs and throw away tons of two liters - you'll agree we have plenty considering who has signed up for drinks. So for now, it is marked off the list. Unless of course, we all decide to go on a liquid diet for our lunch :ne_nau:
W T F are you talking about? Last year, Kris and I cleaned up the beach after you were long gone! We were the last ones there, and Jenny was the last diver in the water.

Put us down for cole slaw.
Are we all bringing our own meat stuffs? or do a few people bring it??

As well, would this be the time to collect pledges for set-up &tear down/ clean-up.
These are the things that always get overlooked (or avoided).

Really peaves me to always see the same people get
stuck with these responsibilities.

These events can & do go on fairly effortlessly when
everyone pulls their weight and does their part

Hopefully nobody gets offended, but it really needs to be out there.
As for those that do get offended,........
Perhaps they should examine their actions.

THERE....I SAID (wrote) IT.....But someone had to.

Now that being said...
I sure hope that the turnout and end of day MEG count
is as good or better than last times (which was pretty good).
Oh,and also that we have good VIS for the event.

We would be bringing our one year old daughter and if we get there early I doubt she will make it the whole day until clean up time. Being that this would be the frst year attending I hadn't given any thought to the clean up. We may just wait another year until she's older.
