Is this event open to new divers or only vets? I'm getting my OW next week and this seems like a good way to connect with the community around here.
NwfDvr you are very welcome!! This will be a good time to get to know new dive buddies!!
Think of this as a big meet and greet! You are very welcome and many of us would love to dive with you! If you will be staying at the campsite, get your site arrangements done now. So bring a sleeping bag and your gear, some booze (if you partake) and some meat for the barbie! We even have tshirts! (see tshirt thread)
The diving starts Friday and many are over at Morrison, hopefully it will be accessible for us. We also do night dives etc, so whatever you want to try, we are game!

What is the method to get to Cypress?
Load a bunch of canoes, swim? I missed out at Vortoberfest but want to do it this time around. As time draws closer, I'd like to find out what everyone plans to do early Friday, since I am going to get there early this time. I pretty much missed out on Friday diving in October.
