Spring-Springfest @ Vortex April 19th and 20th '08

I'd love to attend this but, I'll be finishing up my AOW in April. Voxtober fest, that's do able.

When I talked to the county commission office they couldn't say when it would be open and closed during construction. The construction schedule will run until summer.

So .... chances are.... No....

but other springs are around there. So Vortex isn't the only option. I memory serves me right the jetties have a decent high tide schedule that weekend also.

That stinks. I was looking forward to heading over there.

This weekend just happens to coincide with our checkout weekend again. I have a rescue class and some of you will be great distractors. A lot of water goes under the bridge between now and then but it won't be long!!

heh... if there was a boat ramp already, then whats the point of them building one at Morrison! ? heh.... I think they just like the idea of bulldozing the site.

The other boat ramp is in poor shape, supposedly its in the plan to be refurbished to get the majority of the boater traffic out of the basin.

Hey guys I will plan on coming. In fact my son will be starting OW in march so he should be there to finish his OW check out dives. i think I am just as excited as he is. LOL
