GDI:I think he is talikng about Ice that has a sort of water fall look to it. Ice that forms from the top surface ice and joins to the bottom like water coming down a waterfall It is really cool

But if you've ever actually seen bottom ice... it's definately facinating. I've only seen it once. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I think it forms around the rocks and foliage on the bottom and that prevents it from rising to the surface. It's definately one of those things that cause you to cock your head and re-examine if you should be adding helium to even shallower mixes!
