Actually...most people are on a computer hunt. That's the real irony. Despite all of the accusations of ineptitude by Sebastian, most still want to buy the darn computer! (Because they trust that DRIS will stand behind their purchase I assume). And none of this needed to happen. All he had to was deal with it properly. Explain why there were delays and not make any more promises of delivery of goods that he could not control. Do you think the negative publicity is worth it for such a small company?

I don't think any computer is worth all the squabbling. And I was speaking in proverbial terms, where it appears folks have begun to attack the dealers instead of just waiting impatiently for a computer and venting. Bottom line is Sebastian and DRIS or anybody else for that matter are nothing but the middle men and can only relay on what info was relayed to them. In my eyes (key words: "My eyes") they have done a great job with the hand that was dealt to them. I love XDeep and there products, but make no mistake the blame ends at there feet.

And of course people still want to buy the computer. Its the new toy on the block that every kid wants lol

Nobody is attacking any dealers. We're accusing the distributor about being disingenuous about delivery promises. And yes, I admit to being a geek/nerd/etc. What other animal would order Google Glass for $1500 today?

So Sebastian, to save an email....Do you know if they shipped them yesterday like planned? If so, do you have a qty you will be receiving? If not, do you have a new ETA or anything in terms of reasoning for a delay?

I would suggest to add one more question: how many items can DRIS hope to get per shipment, just so that we can make a ballpark estimate of the expected delays on Mike's end...

I would suggest re-reading the original post. Looks to me that he was notifying folks when it shipping was suppose to be started and a description of the product. I don't recall anything about him saying he created the thread for updates. Instead just using it as a virtual billboard.
