I dont think it's fair to let just a few people foot the bill for everything, and also spend their time picking everything up. just let everyone know what everything costs, If we can afford this sport I think we can afford a few bucks for a day of food and fun. Besides if anyone is going to pay for the whole thing shouldn't it be wrinkles since its named after her anyway :eyebrow:
Ann Marie:
Well heck. If someone is going to bring the water, and someone else hot dogs and buns I will just plan on bringing the burgers and buns and then no one will have to pay anyone anything. Cool.

Nice, the tone of frustation comes to mind...............we have to get a better grip on this event. There is a lot of people coming, all with expectations and unless we all contribute, it will be a royal failure. Waiting for people to volunteer will not work. Just take the list of stuff required, and divide it up between all the people on the list. And if anyone complains, I will just turn off their air at 100ft.

Alternatively, let 1 person buy all the stuff we need, and then collect the money from everyone there.............(I like this idea, that way I know everything will be there, nothing worse than a burger with no condements, need something to spice up those cardboard patti's)

How come no diving Roger?

Hey Kyle I am spoiled with boat diving plus my back and joints do not hold up well to beach dives.

Edit: Kyle I just noticed your name is not on the list? Can you make it?

Roy, I'm not complaining or feeling frustrated at all! I swear (but only when alone or with others). I really don't mind bringing the burgers. It is certainly easier than bringing water, dogs, and burgers and then trying to figure out what everyone owes. I will just bring the burgers as my sign-up item. Besides, it will probably only come to about $40.

Besides Roy, you would have to be freaking nuts if you think that I am going to buy EVERYTHING and then split the bill that way.

Then we must assign tasks to everyone, do we have a final headcount yet, including family members/girlfriends/mistresses.

I've been under the weather for a while now with gallons of snot filling and rotting inside my head. I'm hoping to be well by then, I don't heal too quickly.

Kyle

I won't be able to stay for lunch, so don't add me to the headcount. I can bring chips if no one else has signed up for that yet. Just let me know how many big bags.

Dang, how did you know. No I don't expect one person to do it all, besides, we are all friends, and we will do it together.......hmm, that doesn't sound right.

The only person that is bring a family member/girlfriend/mistress is divinman. I guess everyone else is coming solo. My husband/boyfriend/stud won't be with me. :eyebrow:

So I guess we are at 20.

Ok, in that case, I think we can start assigning projects to people. PM all the Scuba dewds/gals with their contributions to a wonderful day in the sun/water.
