I just got off the phone and have reservations for the 4:15 out of Long Beach Saturday... Woohoo!

See you all soon,

Adam

Excellent! Just in time for Dr. Bill's and dinner... :14:

Oh well, I'm bringing my girlfriend, no matter what, there will be some diving going on..........

Diving in the rain is one of my best times to dive. Along with in the sun, when clouds are out, in the snow, at night, in the day time, and.............

Ya know... the visual on this almost had me falling out of my chair... along with things I'd like to say (in a playful way), however I'm married and I'll try and maintain the wholesome family atmosphere of SB... :D

... I'm with Rick... I'll dive in almost anything (except electrical storms and hurricanes)...

What's wrong with electrical storms, man? Might get a cool buzz or something. BTW, they're now predicting a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday, so we may get a chance to try it :D .

Anyone know if the trailer is open at the park when it's raining and there's only a crazy group of Scubaboarders diving?

Are hurricanes considered a drift dive?

Jim, the last time I was at the park, The trailer guy said the day before it was raining hard and he was there. He said there was a class and a couple other divers. They should be open for us:D

World famous salsa dancer and squid researcher Naoko and I will be in Cottage A at the 'Mosa or underwater nearby from this afternoon through Saturday afternoon, if anyone wants to dive. I look forward to seeing some old friends out there and meeting some new ones as well. See you soon!

Ok, I'm coming back Saterday afternoon.........

ShakaZulu- Along with your girlfriend, bring all your old avatars!

Scubakevdm- Naoko? Does (s)he know Dr. Eric Hochberg of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History? He grew up on the island and is a cephalod specialist.

For the rest- Forecast is not looking good. However vis in the harbor yesterday was awesome (like during the Clean-Up weekend) and reports from the park are still good. I've heard this is supposed to be a gentle rain so it shouldn't affect diving too much.

I've warned both dive shops (and the Sheriff) that the wild and wacky divers of SB will be descending on the town this weekend. They mentioned something about boarding up the windows...
