We're going to be at Campsite #15, if we can get it. There will also be an 8 X 3-foot ScubaBoard banner that will make it easy to find us.

Thanks for the invite Melvin. This might just be a perfect way to start the morning off on Sunday!

Hey All,

I am going down to Leo this evening. I should be there around 6:00pm. I am going to try to secure site #15, if Christain doesn't beat me to it. We will see everyone there this weekend. It sounds like it is going to be a great time.

Rick

Ha Ha, Christain you must have been writing at the same time I was.

Mark Vlahos:
I need to work Friday and Saturday evenings so I will try to make it up Saturday morning, but I will need to be on the road by somthing like 3:30 in the afternoon. Pencil me in since there is a chance I might need to work all day Saturday. It would probably be best if you did not count me toward food items since I may need to back out at the last minute. I will bring my own lunch. I look forward to seeing all of you there.

Mark Vlahos

Well, unfortunately as I feared I will be unable to attend. :( I hope you all have fun, I look forward to reading the reports.

I made it for one very nice dive. The day was perfiect, the company even better.

I agree, Melvin. The diving is great, and the company is wonderful. Sat. was a good day. If you are thinking about it, there is still sunday! Most of us are meeting at the Sandeaters dive at Staircase, then going back to the campground for more Leo diving. Yesterday the conditions were just what we dive for.

Sorry you couldn't make it Mark. We will see you at the next one.

See everyone there,

Rick

P.S. Check out "Lake Leo" Where is the big swell that was predicted?

Here's some more photos of Leo yesterday.

glad you guys had a great time! malibu has been great recently.

btw, there was no swell predicted for malibu. Malibu is south facing and is usually unaffected by NW swells.

Thanks, Scottfiji.

Today was a different story. Good sized swells, so we moved the Sandeaters dive down to Escondido beach. It was smooth as a baby's.......... well you get the idea!;)
Had a good relaxing dive there.

It was great seeing everyone this weekend for a weekend of diving, camping and BBQing!

It was nice seeing some familiar faces and a whole bunch of new faces.

It always takes me a couple of days to get back on the board after so much fun because I have to catch up on all of the thngs that I let get behind. I finally caught up this morning! :11:

I'll put up the thread for the January Wrinkles Dive and BBQ in La Jolla sometime today.

I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Christian
