I don't shop at WalMart's.

There are some on here that are offended by the naked body and I'd bet good money they shop at wal-mart, or lets talk about Bananna republics child labor, ah nah I guess a naked woman in a backplate is a bigger deal.

Yes, this thread is about Salvo. I already know my opinion about child labour, starvation, unfair wars etc. and generally do not come to scuba related boards to discuss those opinions.

I am trying to give you the benefit of doubt. You are basically saying there are bigger issues to worry than this but unfortunately you are at the same time shunting (my) discussion attempt and hinting my issue is insignificant. Also, nobody with half a brain disagrees there are bigger issues, so it’s a bit ridiculing to compare the Salvo-incident to eg homelessness problem. If you scroll back a bit you can see I had just posted a similar response about between-the-line assumptions. Like one has to be ignorant to use these criteria and spend energy on this type of issue with the exclusion of worthier causes.

And I still think you are on wrong track about the offensiveness of naked body. You are not getting that part. I am not offended by naked body. I am disgusted that someone would use that type of picture for selling scuba products, that type of leg-spread mugshot. I wish to know what was the intent, and is/will this be a company theme, and what kind of treatment women customers have received at Salvo.

So if she had clothes on you'd still be just as offended? Or maybe if she was posed a little less provactively you'd be ok with it? What about the dry glove advertisment, do you think that company treats women badly that want to buy their products?

Also my posts are not targeting you by the way, and I can agree that people could be turned off to their products by such an advertisement, I dont' drink Disani water because I saw a commercial that was so stupid I decided I simply couldn't consume their products anymore, I wasn't offended, it was just so far out there retarted I can't give them any of my money.

If you don't want to buy salvo because of that, ok, good for ya this is America you have the right to choose who you buy from.
