How does the Salvo ad have anything to do with anyone being offended by naked human body?

How is it "easily offended" to questions business' values?

FIXXERVI6:
For the men posting in the womens forum to deny men access in posting in the womens forum would be sexual discrimination.

if i could never post in this forum again that would cause irreparable harm to my psyche. i'd need counseling for years to get over it. scubaboard would need to pick up my shrink bills, legal bills and pay for offending my delicate little psyche...

or its not anywhere near big of a deal to start talking about descrimination...

the bigger problem with setting up female-only forums is just that some dorks invariably setup female sock puppets, and policing the forum becomes more trouble than its worth...

What was Leah's response to the OP?

I do not do business companies that I find offensive for whatever reason they offend me. There are many options for me to choose. I don't eat at Hooters although some say they have the best wings. They have a specific client they are going after in their marketing campaign and I am not it. I called on a client recently and he has a prono screne saver going on right behind him. No need for me to scold him, it is his office not mine, but I don't want see his slide show every few days so I decided to pass on doing business with him.

If Salvo is the best in the business, then their gear should sell on the merrits of it. If they need naked women or men to sell it, seems to me like there might be something lacking in the product. If a company has poor judgement in one area makes me wonder if they have poor judgement in another area.

I assume the person was naked an in a harness which spured the OP, why would a person refuse to buy a product from Salvo because of that NOT be offended? (not sure I said that right but you know what I mean)

So someone could see the add, not be offended yet still say well thats just bad buisness values - and here is that word I LOVE - "values"

First, I was the OP.

This is a real pet peeve of mine, people who can't bother to read the thread they are posting in. It appears you never even saw the pictures. Well, kind of pointless to continue it with you. Read the thread and find out what kind of pics they were, what were the issues about the biz, and welcome back to discussion then if you still feel like it.

That was your original response?

I can agree to not buying a product based on their buisness practices and advertising, but as someone else has posted, to be offended by a naked woman in a harness and not buy their products due to it, then run down to wal mart and partake of all the fruits of slave labor is kind of.... off the hook!

I personally find wal mart's buisness practices way more offensive then even a nake woman, or even a man for that mater in a back plate and harness.

I am not offended by naked body, whether it is woman's or man's.
I don't shop at WalMart's.

Is there too many parts in here to try to figure this one out???
