Why do the dive shops try to sell you the most expensive gear?

It was about $130 for the pair. It had a loop you can grasp to pull it. There are clips to unhook them from the rest of the fins.

For $60, I got the simple strap that has a spring and a cover over the spring.

Wow, we're they gold plated, XS spring straps run about $55 and I think they are the most well/robustly made. I like the pull loop so just buy some Apollo ones around $15 a pair. Do you know what brand they are?

And LDSs wonder why folks buy on the Internet....the real problem is that these shop owners bash advancements in technology and online sales instead of embracing it and becoming significantly more stable financially. Sad.
