I am getting wet whether the weather agrees with me or not.....Going through withdrawls, this time will be all wet suit, yup no dry suit diving for me this time.
The deepest depth there is 75fsw, water temps from the guys diving there last weekend was mid 40's, visibility 40' or better. So far only one group took one class of OW students out there. You can see the crusher from the wall, pretty awesome sight from a photo they took. BTW checking the site out the price is $8.00 per day, unfortunately the facilities are delayed from completion due to the weather, projected completion is around July. If you want hot showers go to a hotel, camp at Eagle Lake or, heat up your baby wipes (not really a shower but works).

Will be up to the rest of you if you want to do a night dive, I'm game for it.

Suck it up!!!!

(just how bad is it going to be??? snow?)

I'll be down on Saturday AM. Not sure how late I'll be staying. & yes, the weather will help dictate that.

Joe and anyone else going down Friday or early Saturday.... if the weather stinks, please try to get part of the pavillion. Pretty please! :D It's so much easier to handle the rain if we have cover. & if needed, hang a tarp or two to cover the open sides to protect everyone from the wind.

Also, FYI - one of the LDS in my area, Diver's Inc. Ann Arbor will be down there on Sunday with a group regardless of the weather.

Looks like it might rain. Has anyone stayed at the Eagle Lake Camping resort? The showers like nice, although a bit on the pricey side ($21). That's about 1 1/2 miles away according to their site.

I've personally never stayed at Eagle Lake. The diving was bad when they had it and diving and camping was/are a lot cheaper at Whitestar. & not that this is a big seller for me but Whitestar has some of the nicer pit toilets around.

DMP - Why the change from dry to wet?

Yeah, DMP - why???? I've been wondering the same thing. I can see switching to a wet suit once the air and water have warmed up. But, in 40deg water?????
