Hi All,
I've just picked up a 'Waterproof Draco' 3.5mm crushed neoprene drysuit second hand. I'll need to get the wrist and neck seals replaced before I can dive it but it seemed like a good deal otherwise (only $200) and seems to fit well. Maybe an inch or so too long in the legs - we'll see once I've had a chance to dive it.
My question is what weight undergarment to try?
100GSM
200GSM
300GSM...
I know it come down to personal preference and tolerance for cold but I'd like to be in the right ballpark for 10°C / 50°F through to around 17°C / 62°F. Warmer than that and I'll probably just dive wet.
I've only ever dived wet and have a Cressi Facile 7/5mm which I dive down to 10°C / 50°F.:cold:
I get cold after that first dive though, especially on the boat due to wind chill on the wetsuit.
