dont mean to be a snob but...is Cocoview resort a bit seedy? From the pics it looks funky!

I think that Cocoview is very nice. I liked the rustic aspect of it. Well maintained and clean. No TV was great. The only disappointing experience was when a dive light that I had left in my dive gear locker after a night dive was stolen. After that, I took most of my small stuff back to the room.
I was pleasantly surprised by the diving. Much more fish than I expected based on some of the posts here. Lost of interesting juveniles. And I got to see a yellowhead jawfish with eggs in his mouth.

FWIW, I am a Marriott, Embassy Suite kind of guy and I had absolutely no problem staying at CCV...! I have nothing but good things to say about CCV and will return again someday!!! And; I can be a bit of a snob especially when I am traveling on the company's dime... lol

Please remember; its not a 5 star hotel you would expect here in the states but it is a 5+ star dive resort!!! Again, nothing but good things to say!!!
