But I'm not a big fan of the change either. When you think about it, the SoCal section was already huge. From Santa Barbara to Malibu to PV to LB, from the the Northern CI to the Southern CI, from Laguna to La Jolla to SD, we're talking about so many different areas and diving. Adding NoCal is just too much.

Plus, we're the ones with the warm water! :D

But Arnaud

we're the ones with the warm water!

they're the ones with the hot minds!

By the way conditions at Casino Point that were barely diveable early AM are now pussy cat. The air station even opened up in the afternoon. I heard vis was "poor" (local diver) to "great."

that the next dive trip I get together I will be there no matter what diving opportuniyt comes up:wink:

"I even liked wrinkles idea of getting together for a dive party someplace so we can all put faces to the names." Pasley

I hope to dive and put faces to everyone as well. But as a side note I also posted plans of the trip In the Northern Cali section as well. Everyone was invited.

Ana

I kinda like the idea of thw whole Cali together. the southern cali was so big anyways why not add more:D

Add my voice to the virtual chorus of boos . Pasley put it well, so I'll just say, "what he said."

Interesting that no Nor Cal'ers have weighed in on the issue.....

Maybe they've got diveable conditions ;-0

Chris

Being from Nor Cal I'm feeling a bit unwanted right now. None theless two forums are better. This state is huge and conditions vary greatly. Unfortunately most of the good diving is down SoCal way. It was pretty easy to scan both forums anyway. Maybe we could open a new forum for the State of Jefferson

Brian

Brian Gilpin- don't feel unwanted in the least. It was nice to meet you at the Casino Dive Park.

I think our objections are due to the 1,100 mile coastline of our state. It is just too much to contain in one forum. I really think we need two distinct geographic regions.

However in no way should that suggest that we don't want NorCal divers perusing "our" region and vice versa.

Dr. Bill

Drinking sake today instead of diving... hence the clear head!

Arnaud- just drowning my sorrows after not diving today... or yesterday, or the day before.
