Okay, richerso has to chime in now . . . . . . not that it will actually matter to anyone or change the outcome of the thread . . . . . . . but, here's my two cents:

1) I would be proud to at least go try to dive Richland Chambers or Cleburne State Park. Y'all (proper apostrophe location . . . . think about it) let me know.

2) Otherwise, and more important to me . . . . . . . .
Deb, I know you and Troy trained at Tenkiller; but I would really like to go dive Tenkiller some time for my own personal reasons. We'd have to make a weekend out of it; do the whole camping thing - but hey! - That's fun too! Y'all let me know what you think.

Well I did have a good experience camping this past weekend at the race track. Camping is not usually my thing BUT I could be persuaded to try it at Tenkiller. They do have a nice new scuba park.......

Is Bardwell a fishing lake? I would be leery of running into forests of monofilament line at the bottom.

Yes Bardwell is a fishing lake. Lots of trot lines and it's been fished for years. I grew up in Ennis, the lake is very muddy. Visibility would most likely be zero to maybe see your hand in front of your face.

It would be nice to find a spring river like the San Marcos- Dreaming.

And it is a lot like Travis… but it was like diving a sea of beer cans at that time when the dam face was closed to diving.

I understand Texoma is not good,,,,again a heavy fishing lake with poor water vis and tons of boats and jet skies.
