Hi Everyone

I have about ten video clips of shark footage which I would like to edit, take the best bits and join them together

I have down loaded AVS Video Editor .... but I can't find a tutorial so I've to no idea what to do

Do you know where I can find a tutorial?

or, does anyone have a suggestion of a different software I could download free off the web to play around with?

Thanks

Venus

Must admit I'm not aware of public domain video editors... have you tried a Google search?

I'm not sure you'll find a tutorial except for the user's guides on the AVS website. An easy to use option would be to download and install Windows Movie Maker, it's free from Microsoft. My buddy was able to take 1/2 dozen clips, edit them, add music and create a movie in about an hour. I'm not sure if it supports DVD burning though if that's your end result.

I believe I've seen some tutorials for Adobe Premiere Elements v7 somewhere, Adobe sells it on their website for L74.75. Amazon has it for $86US, I've seen it for less than that on sale there. All menu driven so fairly easy to use. You can download a free trial from Adobe here: There are certainly how-to books available for it.

Or try one of the Pinnacle Studio 12 products. They also offer a free trial. Pinnacle sells a training manual for it here.
