I'm using 3 editing software at the moment.
1. Insta360 App on Android. this is for quick editing and file transfer from a couple of Insta360 camera that I have (Ace Pro, Go3, and Go2). the app allow you some basic editing feature like put together several short clip, add music, text overlay. It may be lack on export quality.
2. Insta360 Studio App on WIndows. This is for conversion of its specific file format into normal MP4 file to be use in another editing software
3. Cybelink Powerdirector. it's a subsciption software which certain reviewer said it's an alternative to Adobe Premier. I'd never use Premier, though. I'm quite satisfy with Powerdirector

My opinion, it is a good consumer level video editing software maybe slightly above iMovie, but it is a far cry from professional video editing software like FCPX or Premier.

Understood, like I said, I'd never use Premier and I'm just 'consumer' level.. ha ha

Simply pointing out the review was stretching things, you can't expect a consumer priced software to compare to a professional product, and most people don't need professional features. When I bought FCPX it was for the multicam features.

That being said FCPX and Davinci Resolve Studio are $300 lifetime purchase. It looks like Powerdirector is $55 a year. I bought FCPX 12 years ago, so the lifetime cost is lower.

Just curious as to why you'd never use Premier. Have you had bad experiences in the past, or do you feel like it's too complicated for what you need?

I think the base subscription cost at $23 a month is a good starting reasons.

Oh good question and I should have mentioned and will edit the OP. I'm using a Win10 laptop. As far as comfortability learning I'd rate myself a 5 or 6...something about an old dog and new tricks comes to mind .

Excellent 👌

Does it do color correction/white balancing?

Easy to use/learn for a total beginners?
