Both the water intakes and the coupler were replaced as was the Exhaust manifold. I hope to start her tomorrow after I wash her down good. That will tell me a lot.

Doc you really must have p---off that guy to have him give you a boat.

It is bad luck to change the name of a boat.

It has no name. According to the old owner, it never has had a name. Maybe I should write a song?

"I've been to the ocean on a boat with no name
'cuz its good to get out of rain!"

It took 2 hours to power wash the MV ScubaBoard this morning. Should have worn my bucket hat. At least its not Black and tan! :D :D :D I need to give it a good scrubbing after dousing it with a mild solution of Simple Green and bleach. What do YOU use to really clean your boat deep down?

Seriously. This works well after you've gotten the surface as clean as you can get it with soap and water and a brush. I don't use the Scrubbing Bubbles on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight because it takes several minutes for it to work.

It will also take any remaining wax off of the surface, so be prepared to wax it or clean it again. The best wax I've used in years is Turtle Wax Ice spray.

This is what needs to happen:
  1. Thorough Cleaning
  2. Deck Support
  3. Complete Rewire with New Switches and Gauges
  4. Install New Batteries
  5. Drain Old Fuel
  6. Rebuild Carburetor
  7. Install New Plexiglas Windshield.
  8. Figure out Throttle/Shift Linkage (probable rusted cables)
  9. Buy/Install Electronics (Marine Radio and GPS/Depth Finder)
  10. Find/Recover Anchor with Chain :D
  11. Test-Test-Test
  12. Buy Tow Boat USA :D
13. Go for a 3 hour cruise :D
14. Courageous Skipper, Fearless Crew :D :D

I like it, that a nice color, and the 151 is a great engine, Mom had one in her 68 Nova, and they make all kinds of parts for them ... you wanna hot rod it? lol

Re: cleaning -

If it has that sticky residue from tree sap,
