This reminds me of when Motorola bought out the gold plated razr with diamond studs on the buttons. Apart from looking like a drug dealer, apparently it was very difficult to dial (sadly for my wife, I couldn't afford one).
 
It IS a dive computer. Somewhere in the specs it mentions using the buehlman algorithm. But their target demographic is obviously the diver with more money than brains, who is overly eager to prove to his friends just how much money he can spend.
 
Hmmm... did they mention which "Al Gore Rhythm" it uses?

I can do a LOT of dive travel for $46,000 + $5,000.

NOTE: I just noticed from the preceding post it is Buehlman.
 
This is more a status symbol than anything.
