Scubapro G3 testing

I love the wristwatch style. However it seems SP is using a low resolution display. All fonts have pixelated portions. Is it correct or just an effect from picture?

I'm new diver and studying g3 or tern tx bundles.

The screen is not as sharp as the Teric, I haven’t seen a Tern and I’m not sure if it uses the same screen as the Teric.

I don’t find the screen lacking but the Teric is the best out there.
Pick whichever you like best. If you go for the G3 I have a new transmitter I’ll make you a deal on.

It is still difficult to find good reviews for tern tx. In relation to G3, this is the best on the internet today.

If I decide on G3, I will let you know.

A few looks at the “light” screen of the G3

A few more G3 dives, digging into old logs from the Teric, the G3 running MB 0, PDIS on a second dive has an NDL of 77 minutes, the teric showed 46 minutes running 40/85.

These are all mellow dives but so far the G3 has not disappointed me.

The HUD (from memory since SP doesn’t log the info) seems to run 10 to 15% more conservative in my diving.

I found that the G2 on MB0 is about the same as the HUD at 45/90. I am guessing the G3 on MB0 would be similar.

I may try changing the HUD setting back to GF to see if they track better with one another.
