you owe a what??
"Eye owe a" is how you pronounce Iowa. (She's not from the US, tc, saying it fast probably wouldn't help her recognize it.)

While we are at it: "Oh ka BOW gee" = Okiboji :)

That's a sound I could do without hearing.

I think u r right Walter. I don't know that there is a significance. What I do know is I had several people marked as "buddies" and have had for a long time. People like you, for instance :) When I would look at the main page, where it says who is on, all of my friends/buddies, people I like or find interesting were highlighted with a plus symbol. Made it easy for me to pick them out and if I cared to, shoot them a note or join them on a thread. So now I guess they have the status of being called friend officially? :ne_nau: Eh, I dunno, I do know that I simply dumped my buddy list into the friends pot and made the change.

That said, if that makes me "middle school" well I never wanted to be a miserable sod/hater anywhoozle :jump: (and I am not referring to you Walter).

:eek:fftopic: Walter - I do believe we are a blow-out this weekend

Using it that way actually makes sense. That's almost what I did. The exception is some of my buddys haven't been active for years and some of them didn't make the switch. Also, I haven't added many buddies in a very long time, so my list is out of date. As I come across folks with whom I interact regularly, I add them. That way our lists are actually useful.

Where were you planning to dive? Venice currently has 6 knot winds out of the ESE. Looking good to me. The forcast for the other coast looks pretty good all weekend.

Yanks can't pronounce much of anything correctly. It's funny to hear them try things like Caloosahatchee, Matlacha, Immokalee, Micanopy.
