Lately I've been enjoying InDepth alongside Alert Diver. I wish there were a commensurate quality print edition of InDepth as I'm a much better learner that way.
I had just finished reading the article when I found this thread. Congrats Pete!!
Great article and shows that Pete is real and transparent......like him or not.....he's unafraid of putting himself and his reality right up front......while many here hide behind the anonymity of your online presence and would never have the stones to show exactly who you really are.
Candidly, I'm a bit teary eyed. We often go through this world with few recognizing our feeble attempts to make a difference. Major thanks to Tom and the entire staff of DAN for being so nice and making me look so good. Friends will seldom help you move. But, Tom is the kind of friend that would help me move bodies.

The enhanced Membership is well worth the extra $35/yr; not only do you get the print edition of the Alert Diver, but you get many more benefits like 3x the Emergency Medical Transportation & Travel Assistance Benefits, Global Security Evacuation, Search & Rescue Coverage, and coverage for Severe Infectious Disease & Quarantine. The last-mentioned paid off for me when I got Covid while on a dive trip, so that alone will pay for my Enhanced Membership additional costs for another 75 years.

There was no problem until they created the Enhanced membership level with its increased fee.
I loved it, too, and looked forward to receiving it. The glossy print was wonderful to page through.
