Diving Black Condo and Clubhouse ledges off of Boynton Beach, Florida. Max depth, 65 feet (20 meters).
There was an aggregation of conchs on Clubhouse, which I believe are sub-adult queen conchs. I poked around a bit and found some instances of this behavior in scientific research, but out of about 6000 dives in this area, this is the first time I've seen it. Shells were approximately 130mm in length (eyeballed) with no flare.
