Question Tern/Tern TX Strap Length?

Wonder if we can just trim off the excess and burn off the ends?

I got the remora webbing strap and as you said, it does have a lot of excess. I tried to follow the method you described, not sure if I did this right? I have a tiny wrist @ 6.5in (7in with wetsuit)

Yes, exactly like that.
(The loop on the left below is usually mostly flattened, opened up to show routing.)

Not sure about the burning bit; it has that bit of elasticity to it which e.g. nylon rope doesn’t seem to…
