I just got a divex travel and went for my first dive, and while the scooter did excellent my shearwater peregrine tx compass absolutely didn't like it.

Have the computer on my right hand and drive the scooter with my right hand.

It just keeps bouncing all over the place.

I know the compass is good as I've done other dives with it and it's been solid

This is how electricity works lol
Put an analog compass on your left arm or a kayak compass on the scooter body with mumetal between the batteries and the case (if there's room)

Thanks! I figured great suggestion with picking up an analog compass
 
There is a topic dealing with a Genesis 3.1 and a compass. In this topic, towards the end of the posts, I posted a link to a video that shows the MU Metal in action.
Thanks appreciate it. Will have to grab some to try out
