Easy question. If it's a combo beer fridge and freezer, then upright, so it will hold all your frozen wings and appetizers. If you're just hoarding frozen stuff, then chest......

I only have 3 tank sizes at the moment. But I've been asked now than once about how "big" a tank is. All are steel, the only aluminum I own have been turned into bells and umbrella stands.
