Yeah, exactly. On my JJ MAV, unscrewing the nipple yields a 3/8" recess for a short hose - perfect for the Swagelok. It will mean adding a Swagelok to the hose from my 3l dil bottle, but I guess that was obvious to everyone but me.

What about using the button on the ADV as a MAV and saving the additional hose?

Yeah, lots of folks advocate for that, since that's how it was originally configured. I've just come to like having both as options. Since I don't use a BOV, the question is almost academic, since I can plumb any bottle into the MAV with a standard BCD connector. But part of me is still wondering about a BOV, hence the QC6...
