Hollis Technical Gear Line launch was huge success at DEMA 2007!!!
The buzz and the crowds at DEMA 2007 were all about the long awaited Hollis Technical gear. While the show seemed to have less floor traffic than normal the Hollis booth had their share and more of admirers. Many people commented that it was a very thought out line of gear, stated David Burroughs, the new vice president of sales and marketing for Hollis. David continued to say, While the line focused on technical gear applications, we received great comments on the new dry suit and light products. Many of the current technical instructors in the industry are excited to get into the water with Hollis scooters, lights, back plates and wings.
Peter Readey the founder of Prism CCR was on hand to showcase the new Prism 2. Hollis has taken the original design of the Prism and incorporated small design changes for the Prism 2. Being involved in the CCR market has been a longtime vision of Bob Hollis, founder and CEO. We felt the time was right for a manufacturer with the ability of Hollis to enter the CCR market, stated Nick Hollis, production manager for Hollis. Nick also stated, We have an expected ship date of April 1, 2008, for the Prism 2 in North America. Additional information and training locations for the Prism 2 will be available in the beginning of 2008.
