We just went there today, one more day and i finally knock out the open water yaaaaaaaay, and based on the information we gathered some investment company has purchased the place and is in the process of making major changes. Including preparing to remove the fiberglass cave diving structures. I have no way of knowing how valid any of this but this was definitely the first time i was at vortex, just because i haven't dove it doesn't mean i have not been there

Were you out there in MBT's class? I ran into the Rich's at the gas station in Ponce De Leon Saturday morning, they said they had a class of 16. Yowza!

Congratulations on certification! I haven't looked back through all of the posts; are you going to Springfest? It's a great way to meet alot of the folks from SB. Good people, fun dives, good food, drink, and fun times.

No I was with the Dive Pros class. I am still up in the air on making it out there that is the week before my FINAL finals week. So I shall see. Even if i don't make I hope you all have a great time.

Between the Bad JU JU on the offshore dives, campsites hijacked, and some people trying to set fire to some wet wood on the other side of the spring, well all I can say is, ONLY 22 MORE DAYS TILL WE DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! WOOHOO!

Hey everyone, sounds like this is going to be a repeat of last years throw-down.
I have a question for Martin and Clay. Do you two plan on bringing your girl-children with you? I see that Squirt is on the guest list, but nothing about the Little-Snep.
The reason I am asking is that my 11 yr old princess has been bitten by the bug and wants to do her first "Scuba-outing". That being said, I may bring her for the day to get in a dive and socialize with the diving community.
The obvious drawback is that I will have to refrain from partaking in "Neptune's Nectar", otherwise known as Rum!! (Considering last time though, that may be a blessing in disguise!)
Since the child is involved now, I just wanted to see if there was going to be anyone else around her age to hang with during the SI, etc...
